Go Your Own Way
Go Your Own Way
YOU are the best friend you will ever have.
You know yourself.
You know what you are capable of.
So listen to yourself more.
Trust your instincts.
This wall art print is called "Go Your Own Way".
Just imagine if Muhammad Ali, instead of thinking to himself, "I'm the Greatest, I'm the Greatest", on the cold winter mornings of training when he was pounding out the training miles trying to become a champion, had instead thought "It's cold. Perhaps I am sorta average?"
Do you think we would have heard of him?
Maybe. But I rather suspect we wouldn't.
The world claps you generally only after you have clapped yourself.
The world notices you because you notice yourself first, and like what you see.
Zigging when others are zagging doesn't guarantee success.
You can still be heading in the wrong direction, even if you do it on your own.
But, equally, there may be times when you are an army of one in your beliefs, in your heart, in your spirit, and that is the real truth.
In those moments.
When you look into yourself and know your own truth, then go your own way.
And even when the flock of humanity, your friends, your colleagues, your nearest and dearest, and everyone, it seems, with a pulse, is telling you to fly in another direction, know your own truth, open your wings and fly where you need to go.
I believe in you!
